Tony Award-winning star of stage, screen, and television John Lithgow stars as J. J. Hunsecker, the most powerful gossip columnist in America, who can create celebrity or ruin lives with a single stroke of his pen. Broadway favorite Brian D'Arcy James also stars. With music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Craig Carnelia, book by John Guare, Sweet Smell of Success is based on the novella and subsequent film of the same title. "Remember, you heard it here first."
