to begin an adventure that captures the energy and spirit of the Jazz
age. THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE brings to life a world of flappers
bobbing their hair, raised hemlines and women entering the workforce
and rewriting the rules of Love. With a score of 15 songs that
include three from the movie, several standards from the '20s and
originals provided by Tesori and Scanlan, it brings a parade of some
of the funniest characters to life. Winner of six 2002 Tony Awards
including Best New Musical.
