Ben Elton's plot
for this long-awaited tribute to Rod Stewart, is based, rather
improbably, on the Faust myth. The show tells the story of a shy
young man who is tempted by the devil while trying to win over his
sweetheart by emulating his idol Rod Stewart. Ben Elton, whose
previous musicals include The Beautiful Game and We Will Rock You,
will also direct the piece which will include a whole host of Rod's
hits from Maggie May to Do You Think I'm Sexy?
